Psst... don't tell the roadies, but I went out for a ride last night on my Avanti Black Thunder... we just bought a light for my daughters commuting bike and thought we'd test it was adequate...
So despite the snowy wind, and the cowpats set like rocks due to drought conditions, I stayed out for nearly half an hour... came inside and peeled off the layers (even had a hat on under my helmet!!) and told my partner I want to do it EVERY night! So much fun!
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow".

Today in my neck of the woods it was 104 degrees F. It's so nice to read the phrase "despite the snowy wind." What a cool thought!

No doubt, Liquid, I'll be seeking your posts of cooler days when summer heads round to this side of the world!
The moon was 3/4 full last night, zen... very purty... def gonna go out when the moon is full and see if I even need to use the light!
Hey there BM... your time will come, and it was only our front paddock... I figure I could start "little"... and when you are ready... if you dare... you can meet under the moon and we can go riding in the buff togather (well... with shoes... gloves....![]()
