at about 8:30 I'm heading through Shoreline to LFP to get on the Burke. Riding the Burke to Recycled Cycles to get a bolt for my fender. (good excuse, eh?) Gee, I hope they're open today...
Should get to LFP around 9:10. Anybody want to meet me somewhere, keep your eyes peeled for black bike, yellow vest, yellow helmet.
I'll probably take a rest near Metropolitan Market where the Burke crosses 40th or something like that. Basketball court on one side, MM on the other.

bummer... Although it could be lunch time by the time I get out of Recycled Cycles. I'm taking it slowly on the new bike. You have my cell #, right? Call me if you go out on the Burke today, maybe we could meet up to say Howdy.

I hope they're open too. We need to go to a bike shop today (have to buy some tubes and tires!) We're hoping to go to Elliott Bay Bike. I do still have your cell.
BEAUTIFUL 45 mile ride in gorgeous part-cloud/part-sun weather! Recycled Cycles gave me a fender bolt and attached the fender *free* cuz they are just awesome like that. I had a picnic on a little park dock on Lake Union. I'll post some pics after my shower.
