Alright, thought I would do a little updating here!

I moved from Ft.Lauderdale to Albuquerque on Tuesday, I love it!! So pretty.
But... my bike hasn't made it here yet(it shows it arrived 2 days ago, but hasn't arrived at the LBS yet, it is being looked into) so everyday I have been taking the dog for 1-2 hour hikes!

On the downside, I was supposed to work at the LBS with my SO(well upstairs in the tri/running dept.) and the manager for that department on the day I flew in, decided she didn't need another employee!
Ughhh...... so now I am trying to find a job and my car won't be here for a couple more weeks, so it is hard. The SO's car is a stick, and I don't know how to drive it(had a short lesson this morning, but it didn't go so well). We are also staying at his parents' house until we decide where we want to live, so it is ackward.

Anyways, Just wanted to say that Albuquerque is beautiful right now and I am so happy to have made this move, I finally have some hills to climb
and I will get to meet Jenn!

Hope this wasn't rambling, I am just couped up with his parents and bored!!

Hope things go a bit more smoothly for you in the next couple of weeks.
In the meantime...enjoy the walks with the dog. Dogs are cheaper than a psychologist.

All you need is love...la-dee-da-dee-da...all you need is love!

It definitaly is! I grew up in Ft.Lauderdale, went to CU-boulder for a few years, then back to ft.lauderdale(not because I wanted to).
I am so happy to be somewhere with mountains and where the people are more outdoorsy-more like me!

Hikes with the dog have been great, got new trail shoes yesterday- started to run again today(half run/half walk, going to take a little bit of time for my asthma to calm down while adjusting to the altitude).

Only bad thing is that UPS seems to have lost my bike, but I did call and it says it is supposed to be delivered today. Went down to the shipping hub yesterday and caused a big ruckus(it was scanned in there 2 days prior... supposed to be 4 day ship and that was the 6th day). It wasn't anywhere in the building and they didn't know if it was on a truck or not.
Not delivered yesterday, still waiting to see if it shows up at the LBS today
    :-(
On a positive note, I test rode the Bella yesterday and have decided I like it tons more then the ruby. So I am going to get it once my bike appears and gets cleaned up to be sold!!!!!!!! So excited

I am so jealous. I grew up in Albuquerque and miss it so much. It is a beautiful place. You will have many great places to bike there. Enjoy!
