Your Favorite Summer Century Shorts?

Time to take an informal poll since Spring finally has arrived here on the East Coast. Last year's shorts are looking thin and I've upped my training schedule and I don't want to do laundry every day! Help! Time to invest in some new bike shorts.

What are your favorite summer shorts for those hot summer century rides?

Did I mention I'm doing 110 hilly miles on August 4th

I hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your message, but I need shorts help too! It hasn't even been warm yet and I am sweating in my shorts. I absolutely love wool, but the padding in my IBEX short is just too thick. So far I have not had any female problems, but I am really worried I will because it is as though I am sitting on a wet sponge about an hour into a ride.
My seat does not bother me at all, so I am looking for a short with the lightest possible padding that will breath alot. I have looked on many websites including TE, but it is just so hard to decide when you can't actually touch them!! Anyone got some favorites?

I'm an Ibex fan, but prefer my Terry shorts/skorts when it's hot.

Unfortunately, Terry doesn't make the chamois I like anymore.

I love the Terry Bellas. I wore them on a hot humid century last Sept. Lots of lycra, low waist, and a bit longer than usual. The chamois really is good.

Craft and Terry are my favorites (and I happen to like the newer Terry chamois). Good luck on your rides!

The Performance Ultras are supposed to be designed for hot weather, better wicking capabilities. I have them but havent' worn them yet. The inseam is a little shorter than what I am used to but the chamois feels heavenly (for the brief time i tried them on). I love my Performance Elites, have done a century and lots of miles in them. I am looking at the Terry Bellas next to see what they are like. I think they will be my next purchase.

I am on my computer all the time at work so I was around when those came out. I've never worn them before but heard such rave reviews, I got two. If I don't like them, I'm sure you'll see them listed here

I wear M in both Castelli and Shebeest, whose knickers (they call 'em Pedal Pushers) I do like for cooler weather.
