Pics of my road rash..Look at your own risk!

I know it probably pales in comparison to what ya'll have been through...but here is my intitaiaion.....I'd rather go though child birth again then deal with with this road rash I have a HUGE black eye, and we realized after looking at my helmet that it totally cracked on the right side where I hit. After seeing halo's for an hour after leaving the E.R. I knew is was just the concusioun.
Lisa.....thank you sooo much !! Thank you all for the encouraging words....ya'll are the best!!! ~~~~~~~~HUGS~~~~~~~~~~

    Ouch!!!

Yeah, definitely keep it moist and uncovered as much as you can bear it.

At least you're ok, that is all that matters.

    Are you sleeping at all?

I think there will be a collective cringing here at the pictures but again, you're ok and that is most important.

Well, it just really sucks that you can't go out on a nice evening and have a nice ride. Thank goodness for the great Doc's here and their understanding that I don't like medication, I've been dealing with it ok....

It IS painful. I've had similar rashes on my knees and elbows, but never on large surfaces or on my face. Aaaah! Poor you.

You'll get fresh new skin in the end but boy! is the process painful!
