SO, we took the little one out in the trailer finally today little WIND thank goodness and off we went on the paths. Well, she was getting fussy about 30 minutes into the ride so as I try to pull up next to her to see what is going on I went off the path into a ravine and fortunatly got unclipped before I hit a HUGE cement culvert, instead I just ate some dirt and a few goat heads.
So I get up we take off again, about an hour later on the way back, I was in front DH said something the wind picked up I turned around and wham hit a HUGE hole in the pavement.....(thanks to the prarie dogs) and went straight down, couldn't even unclip. Mmmm, that tasted even better. I was more angry that my new handle bar tape (which is so pretty) got a little messed up and my handle bar got a little turned in but at least I fell on the left side!!
So, I sit here with bandaids and a bandage on my hand but, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN!
DH said it will be awhile before I pull the trailer...hahaha

Yikes, Jenn, sounds like training wheels are in order!

Another "eat this" story -- last night, the kids took grandson and granddog to the Bruneau dunes (Tater knows them well!) to play. Stories included dog struggling to swim (boxers aren't built for swimming, exactly) and grandson doing a header down a dune. Grownups thinking this will be bad news, but he just bounced back up, spit out some sand, and ran off to play some more!

(he knows all about the evil goat heads already too -- we got neighbors who seem to culivate the suckers!)

Jenn!!! We're glad it's just a couple of bandaids and some handlebar tape!

Oh Jenn -- that sounds awful! Your poor handlebars/tape!

(Oh, and sorry you ate dirt, too!)

Well, I'm glad that it was just your ego that was bruised. The last time I fell was a year ago and I cracked my arm. Hopefully I can take my cue from you!
