    New Pants!

So my existing pants had been getting tight and some I couldn't wear anymore. I ended up getting a pair of size 12 levis from Costco (I have been a size 10 for as long as I can remember, I'm 5'11" which explains part of it! that and my affinity for pizza ) The 12s were getting a bit loose so I ordered size 10 levis online. Yeah, I know it's risky but I like them long and it is difficult to find 10L in stores sometimes.

    I got them today.

I was scared. I decided to try them on and had reconciled to the fact they might have to wait to be worn.

They FIT! They're a teeny bit tight but then again I'm used to things being loose with the 12's so it might just be me.

And to think I only started re-riding a few months ago and the running regime for the sprint tri I'm doing in Sept will start this week. Yay!!!

Teigyr, I like 'em loose myself. Tight pants just are not comfortable. Glad you lucked out and they fit!

Yeah, I live life on the edge by doing internet ordering. It's a result of not having enough spare time (ie going to actual stores) and having far too much time at the computer.

I like them loose also. I remember back in the day when we'd use keyrings to zip up our pants (loop it through the hole in the zipper to yank it up because they were sooo tight!) but that was, er, the 70's.

Yep, if you couldn't read the date on the dime in your pocket, your pants were too loose.

Did we actually breathe back then?

Yeah, I don't get it. Now if my pants are tight, I feel fat! Honestly back then I don't know how I sat down!!! Remember getting the skin rubbed off my finger trying to zip the pants up, hence the keyring.

I think times are better now Either that or I prefer comfort over fashion.
