    Bike Expo

Who's going to Bike Expo? Our Century Ride of the Centuries (CROC) will be there in a booth. If any of y'all are there, come by. I'd love to meet you. And I want to talk you into coming to our ride in Pendleton during Memorial Day Week-end. It's a fun and cheap 3 day ride.

Wonderful--we'll have to find each other. I'm so glad that it's later this year. I absolutely froze last year even though I wore long underwear, a turtleneck, bike jersey, fleece jacket, and a heavy wool long coat over the whole ensemble! I kept my gloves on the entire day, too.

Goody! We'll all have to stop by the Redmond Cycling Club Booth and The Century Ride of the Centuries(CROC) Booths.

We're going on sunday! I've never been but there are so many things we need (or need info on) that I think it would be a great experience.

I'll be wearing my black Amici Veloci buff on my head pirate-style. If you see me, stop me and say "Hi"! Maybe I'll wear my screaming yellow Canari "BioSwelter" jacket for greater visibility...

I'll probably be drawn like a butterfly to the Ibex booth, and gazing longingly at any tandems I can find.

(uh, that's assuming Ibex is there again this year)

(and did you catch my subtle critique of Canari's BioVent fabric? Didja? Huh? Huh?)

Well, Knot if you're there Sunday morning, be sure to come by the RCC
booth, so you can meet the Raleighdon.

I am going to try to make it on Sunday (probably as soon as it opens at 10.00 a.m.), so I will hope to meet everyone at last!

I'm hesitant to post this since I may not be able to make it, but is there any interest in a ~20 mile social ride from the expo? I know the venue is near the BG trail. I'm looking for interest and someone to lead the ride, since I couldn't find the trail, even if it's wearing a screaming yellow Canari "BioSwelter" jacket . And once found, wouldn't know where to go on it.
We could meet by the bike lockup sometime and just go for a casual ride?

I will have my Delightfully Polite and Mature Teenager (snort!) with me that weekend, so won't be able to ride. Darn!!!! Otherwise I'd be all *over* this opportunity!!!

Hey, good idea about wearing the buffs! I'll have my red one on probably as a turtleneck.

Not sure which day we'll be there--heck, we may go both days. Will keep our eyes peeled for buffs of the AV sort, that is.

Mimi, didn't get a chance to visit with you at Redhook, so I must make amends. Perhaps you'll be be kind enough to show me the difference between merry, marry, and mary?
