wow, that's quite the hailstorm!
why are the ice piles so uneven? was it windy too?
did you see the hail yourself?

No, i wasnt caught in it, it was about 11pm at night fortunately... it was very very windy. I dont know why the hail was in piles, but i think some of the cleanup had started by the time the pictures were taken.
i ride in about 7am and they were already working on the roads around the uni by the time i got in.
most of the buildings have re-opened and all the students are back this week. so things are pretty much back to normal.
the worst affected was the arts school and the glasshouses... they have put on extra staff for those phd students... poor things, how awful that would be
