Thumbs up Infinit Nutrition has changed my life!

Ok some of you may have heard this from me in my IMAZ training posts, but I wanted to post this for anyone who might have missed it.

I have discovered a wonder drink from a company called infinit nutrition. They have a few standard formulations, or you can customize the formulation to your needs, and they will send you your own personal blend!! You can either take a survey- which I did- and they will blend it for you based on the answers to your questions, or you can actually blend it yourself (check out the website to see how to do that).
I happen to be a VERY salty (read; CRUSTY) sweater, and I tend to cramp. I also am prone to stomach distress, and I train/racce in the heat. I need something for the Ironman long haul, and I don't like it to be to strong. No problemo, they formulated up the perfect drink for me.
The weird thing is when I first mixed some up it tasted too salty to me. But I decided to give it a try anyway. When I was actually riding it tasted really good. So I guess my body really did need that salt. The other bonus is that I don't have to take salt tabs, and I don't really need any other solid food. I do still take a few cliff bloks in the bento just for a diversion, but I don't feel like I need them.
I think the biggest thing has been the fact that I come off the bike feeling great. No stomach issues and I'm ready to run.
So if your looking for a drink for the long haul (or even shorter too as they have low calorie options for those short distance peeps) check them out!

Oh- and they guarantee the product! If your formulation doesn't work they will reformulate it for you. If it still doesn't work they will give you your money back. I also spoke with the guy on the phone and he is ready, willing and eager to answer any questions you have.
    Cheers!

    Oh, how cool!

I took the little interview thingy and everything, and then saw "maltodextrin" in the ingredients. (darn celiac)

I'm not a high-powered athelete enough to need my own formulation, anyway, but it sure sounds appealing! What a great idea!
