What I Like Most About My Spouse/SO...

This is a perfect time for those of you with spouses/SO's who "lurk" on TE to give them a pleasant surprise.

Say something nice about them for the world to see. I'll kick it off:

What I like most about Silver is that she doesn't give up, no matter how tough things are...and she's accomplished a lot because of that. She's inspired me to be a better person.

What I like most about Raleighdon... that's hard because there are SO MANY THINGS...
He's funny, irreppressible, irreverent, honest, clever, has an amazing sense of direction, he's a great cook, he's a very strong rider, but never minds staying in the back of the group if there's a newby or someone hurting. He cries at movies.
He sings annoying songs and plays harmonica while going up hill and everyone is out of breath.
He will go way out of his way to help someone, and he buys me presents.

What I love most about my dear Ian is:

He's the coolest guy I know. He may drive me batty but he puts up with my whingeing about my biking, job, etc. He encourages me to Do & often reminds me of Yoda.

He loves me just because and is a pretty damn good communicator. I love his hugs & kisses.

I feel i'm pretty lucky to have found my man.

What I like most about my partner, Tom, is he keeps pluggin' along no matter how tough things are. He is a fighter. I value his opinions though I don't always agree with them. He is strong and confident. He has a great smile, eyes that dance, and a quick wit. He encourages me to push myself, to grow and to look deep within myself. He is a great listener and gives great advice. He is my source of strength when times get tough, when I'm really scared he calms my fears and he gently wipes my tears away as they fall. He is the best thing that has happened to me and I can only hope I offer him as much as he freely gives me. I do love him!

What i like about my bf... He's sweet. Sweet to his friends, his family. He's smart and motivated about everything. Whatever he's doing he throws himself into. He says what he thinks and does what he says. He tells me Iam lovely Iam very blessed

What I love about DH is...

HE MAKES ME LAUGH OUT LOUD HYSTERICALLY ALMOST EVERYDAY.

He a has a lot of other great characteristics: he's sexy, really really really really smart, creative, romantic, loving...

He's also a member of the grammar and spelling police. He's acts as my editor when I need one. But best of all he's really funny - oh, I think I might have mentioned that already.

What I love best about my husband Chris is his unfailing belief in me. Unwaivering, unquestioned support, no matter what. He is my true best friend. He has my back.....

And he is funny, smart, very, very kind, wonderful with my mom who has cancer,

And very handsome, and strong, a great training partner, a great partner period.

26 years together and still makes my heart do flips......

Oh and he would pick me for his dodgeball team..inside joke....

Here's what I appreciate about him...

my SO is my best friend. He helps me in any way he can and we can raise each other's interest in new things still. I admire him intellectually (something I have to be able to in a partner) and we haven't had a fight in 10 years. Maybe 2 "upset half hours": I have a deep sense of trust in him.
All I can do is hope I am giving back to him what he needs from me - I sometimes feel he doesn't talk about all his feelings, so I need to "guess" now and then, and I am hoping I am doing a decent job at it.

He's a keeper.


Yeah. He tells me I'm beautiful and he agrees I might have lost some fat even if he's lying .

Mr. Bad is one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever known. He's fearless--he'll try anything at least once. He's ingenious, and thinks of ways around problems that would never have occurred to me. His education is nowhere near equal to mine, but his native intelligence makes us intellectual equals. His patience isn't always the best, but he has great reserves of it to call on when it's needed, as when he helped me care for my parents while they were suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He's generous, he's kind to animals, especially dogs (anybody's dogs--not just ours), and his word is his bond. He loves me and makes me laugh.

And after 25 years of marriage (29 years together), I'm still thrilled when he comes home at the end of the day.

The fact that he finds me incredibly irresistable covered in sweaty cycling clothes!



And that he will give me an honest opinion on whether I can do something or not. I hate when you ask someone's opinion on whether you can handle something and they are all, 'oh sure you can!' even though you know that there is no chance in hell. He can tell me how it is realistically, without putting me down or making me feel bad about myself, and all the while inspire me to push myself to farther limits!

I am in the beginning stages of my relationship, but my new boyfriend listens to me. Really, truly listens when I'm talking to him. And he remembers what I say! He's smart and very creative. He's caring. He's cute and he smells sooooo good.

Choosing just one thing is difficult. I would say he completes me. Together we can do anything and overcome anything (and we have overcome a lot in the past 17 years). He is a gentle soul, compassionate, trusting, loving, romantic, has a warped sense of humour, passionate about his work, is a brilliant scientist, yet still prefers to be with his family.

He is most definitely a homebody and loves his family above all else.

I still look at the clock everyday to see when he will be home. My heart skips a beat, even 17 years later, when he walks through that door.

My honeybear is always there for me and anyone else who needs it, lending a helping hand, asking for nothing in return. He loves me, even when I just get back from a ride that I didn't do so well on, all grumpy and mopey. He knows, almost instinctively, when I need hugs & kisses, and says the right things at the right moments. Most of all, he never stops giving his love to the world (and to me in particular) and I'm a darn lucky person to be able to love him in return!

last year on Valentines day I wrote 100 things I love about my Greg! At first I thought it would be hard to do but it wasn't! He was so surprised. One of the top 10 on my list is that he loves animals. Any man that loves animals is a good soul! I can be an animal sometimes to and he loves me...
