I have a CafeExpress shop that I do very little with -- actually, have just created a couple of t-shirts for my own use, and as gifts.
Awhile back I was frustrated that the site http://cicle.org has great images and graphics for what they call "properganda" but you can't order products with them; you just print them out for your own use.
So I picked out a CafePress shirt with red sleeves:

And added one of the cicle.org graphics:
I figured since I'm not making any profit from it and I'm displaying (wearing) it, that would fall within the bounds of a fair use of the graphic.
It's GORGEOUS!
I am totally in love with it.
I hope it really is considered fair use. I am not selling them, just wearing it for myself. I did email them awhile back with questions about it but never got a response.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a better message-display than pasting it on a lamp post. I intend to wear it this summer when I'm doing utility cycling!
“Hey, clearly failure doesn’t deter me!”
sounds like "fair use" to me! Enjoy!
