Good race, BT.
Upping your average by well over a mile is awesome.
Remember, the higher your average gets, the harder it is to lift your average.
My son just quoted me this bit of maths:
To go from an average of 32kph to 40kph requires TWICE (yes, thats right... TWICE) the power output.
So well done on the increased power output!!! Particularly considering you began the race on only 2 hours of sleep. You rock!
Here's a challenge for you.... you have mastered being in zone 5 and 5a... for a short ITT, you can think about moving into zone 5b - thats 106% and over...
I've just added another couple of bits in the "tips'n'tricks" forum re time-trialling if you are interested...
