    February secret sister progress report

Just a nod to my secret sister here: Do not despair. The goodies are assembled and I'm nearly done making your red gift. Or ... thought I was until DH asked if I was making a carneval costume, as in a hooker outfit. Uhmmm, he may be right. It got a bit much. So now I'll backtrack and tone it down some. But that'll take another couple of days. Then postal service time. All in all it should get to you by the end of the month tho'.
Half-marathon over. Sabbatical year over. It's back to "sacking shirt and oat cakes" as they say here.

    In panic-mode over here.
    Coming to the realization that:
    1. February is a SHORT month.
    2. Racking my brain for "red".... I'm afraid "home made" is out of the question unless you want something really frightful and on par with any marginally talented 1st grader.
    3. Since I do put my heart into this, "heartfelt" will be a bit easier to come by, but the ideas are slow to come this month. It's that whole "molasses going uphill in January" phenom.....

I'm also not quite finished, but will be putting the finishing touches on the gift tonight. Hopefully I'll get it all assembled and packaged and to the post office by Wednesday, but who knows how long it will take to be shipped around the world after that.....

    I gotta get paid first.

Well I got the main part finished and it's "red". I need something else to go with it. Creative thoughts are turning in my mind. I'll come up with something soon and it'll be sent on its way

Whew, I finished mine up and there is indeed something homemade (please remember it was a rush job, but done from the heart). It should go out tomorrow unless we get hit with the storm early.
