I have a Litespeed Capella. I never actually looked up what Capella meant, and today I found out by accident while researching something else. It's actually the name of a star. I know, I'm a horrible owner for never checking it out.![]()
My bicycle's name means "little she goat"?!?!? I'm riding a goat?!The name Capella means 'little she goat' in Latin, as in Roman mythology the star represented the goat Amalthea that suckled Jupiter. It was this goat whose horn, after accidentally being broken off by Jupiter, was transformed into the Cornucopia, or "horn of plenty", which would be filled with whatever its owner desired.![]()

"Keep plugging along. The finish line is getting closer with every step. When you see it, you won't remember that you are hurting, that anything has gone wrong, or just how slow or fast you are.
You will just know that you are going to finish and that was what you set out to do."

A goat, yes, but from the mythological background, a goat that supports greatness--yours!
And remember that the name Capella is, after all, the name of a STAR.
Pretty cool, if you ask me.

And when you said Capella, I thought "a capella":
a cap·pel·la [ kəpéllə, à kəpéllə]
adv , adj
by voices only: without accompaniment from musical instruments
[Late 19th century. From Italian a cappella , literally “by the choir,” that is, “in the style of church music.”]
