I had considered using one of the Legolas photos when my old avatar mysteriously disappeared this week. My other choice was my miserable DMD picture.

Thom picked the Sierra Rd. one.

I don't know how this is happening. On my computer I see one of my photos as your avatar.

But on Thom's computer and I'm not logged in to TE, I see your regular avatar, which is quite nice BTW

. My computer must be losing its mind.

How bizarre is that? I'd be a little miffed, too, if I thought someone had used one of my photos without permission. But it is a beautiful photo.

Safeway had no egg nog today and I don't add booze to it anyway. It's weird I see the same photo in your member profile. I wonder how my computer is doing it.

Veronica: How about cleaning the cache of your web browser? In Internet Explorer (I have IE 7), this should be under Tools > Internet Options > "Browsing history". And in Firefox (version 2), it would be under Tools > Clear Private Data. My guess is that you must have a picture of the Legolas with the same name as the picture for Velogirl's avatar... (you could also try a second web browser to see if this is true, unless you set the folder for temporary items to be the same).
