    Merino Wool

All of this talk about merino wool stuff has made me want to try some but it can be pricy. Today I was shopping at Marshalls and bought a really cute light weight hoody, a heavier weight full zip hoody (both a brand called marina luna which I've never heard of) and two pair of Teva socks all in merino wool for under $50.00. Everything is so nice and soft. I can't wait to try it all out. If I really like it I might have to spring for that pair of Ibex loose tights.

Watch out for labels that read something like: "100% wool, merino blend". That might mean it has 20% merino wool and 80% regular wool, for instance. Or sometimes "merino blend" means part polyester or part lycra blended with some part merino wool.

Thanks Lisa. The lables do say "100% merino wool", but who knows what's really in there.

Just snagged a smartwool merino t-shirt on Steep and Cheap for $28.13! I've wanted a wool base layer and bought the Ibex Collo, but it was too itchy. Hope this one isn't.

    Want, want, want...

And they STILL have the color I want in my size.

Someone quick buy up all the L Cayenne so I'm no longer tempted, ok?

If it actually says "100% merino wool", then that's probably what it is.

I broke down yesterday and bought the orange Smartwool hoodie.

Susan, make sure they get it right in the mail!
