    I am a runner......

I have never thought of myself as a runner. I am a mt biker that runs. And I started running only to be able to include a wider variety of races.

My DH and I are training for an off road run-bike-run, and last night in training I ran a 2 mile trail loop, very hilly and rough in 17 mins.

I am so excited....never, never, never did I think it was possible....

    never.

Whooo hooo! Congrats on a very fast 2 mile rough run! Now that my long, slow distance race is over, I'm looking forward to running faster again! I'll see you on the trails...

A hilly, rough two miles in 17 minutes? Yeah, I'd say you're a runner, and good one too!

    Nj...

Gotta get through this race first....and then bring it on. I am tired today, but so very happy. Those darn hills do hurt!

Congrat, Ruth! And welcome. I, too, am impressed with your speed and ground-handling skills. I don't think of myself as a runner, either, despite having run a full and half marathon, and numerous shorter races. I think of myself as a cyclist, and a triathlete. Which means...I have to run! Have fun with your new way to play. Lise
