Okay, I see that Lifesgreat beat me to the punch on this, but since I already had all this ready to go, I'll post too.

Today's race was a 8.5 mile TT. Chris Wherry of Toyota United won the stage with a time of 15:50:67. Chris Baldwin, also of Toyota, came in second with a time of 15:58:00. Sergey Lagutin placed third (16:08:76).

Here's a pic of them on the podium after the race:

It was the best day of my life! Today I volunteered in the VIP tent, and I'll tell ya, you are treated like a VIP in the VIP tent! And yes, the racers visited the VIP tent again today.

My first duty today before heading to the VIP tent was to deliver drinks to the teams. That was a lot of fun! The teams seemed really appreciative that we were personally delivering water to them while they were warming up on their trainers. Team Kodak was especially glad and let me have my pic taken with one of the riders, Jesse Anthony, current KOM:

Here are some of the race photos.
Not sure who this is, as I was too excited at this point to write anything down:

I have a few more pics, I'll have to post them in another post since I'm at my limit with this post.

One of the benefits of working in the VIP tent was that we got the opportunity to ride in the follow vehicle. Here I am pretending I was going to drive:

Here I am schmoozing with announcer Dave (Lifesgreat, help me with his full name please).

Chris Wherry was nice enough to sign my back. I believe he's holding his yellow jersey:

And here is the back of my volunteer shirt. When most of these guys signed my shirt, they had already changed out of their kits, so I'm not sure who signed me. But it sure was fun getting signed. I know I have several Navigator and Toyota signatures. If anyone recognizes these signatures, please let me know! Chris' sig is at the right and I think Glen Chadwick's is at the top left (?):

Dave Towle is the announcer. Bob Roll is coming to announce on Friday and Saturday. . .

I did get the Lagoon pics off of there. I accidentally loaded the wrong file and then deleted them. I must have missed some
