I just got a tube of Brave Soldier Friction Zone today. I'm not sure why I thought I needed it, because I don't usually use chamois cream, but I was ordering some other BS stuff (I _swear by_ BS Healing Ointment!!!) and it was new so...
So far I can report that it smells good enough to eat!! (Looking at the ingredients, I can see why!) So anyway, I guess I'll try glopping some on there, next long ride, and see what happens.
Here's what they say about it on the website:

The most effective way to do it, is to do it.

Nanci:
Thanks for the information on the Brave Soldier friction zone.
I checked out the chamois butt'r on the TE website and saw that the last ingredient is lanolin -- which I'm very allergic to.
So........I'm going to place an order for the friction zone & also the solar shield.
Looks like good stuff!!
Thanks again!

Yes, TE should see if they can carry some Brave Soldier items like the Antiseptic Healing Ointment and the Friction Zone and the Crash Pack!!
I've used healing ointment on tons of stuff on myself, plus on my rescued bird, whose entire body was covered with scabs, and on Dillbird when he had laser surgery. I love it.

So, you are saying that the scar stuff works. I really need something to get rid of my road rash that I still have since March!Originally Posted by Nanci

Does it really work?
I don't know if it reduces scars, but it helps injuries heal really fast.

Ok, I have two questions, maybe Nanci (or anyone) could help me out? I got some Brave Soldier Friction Zone on sale at Performance last week. Looking at the package it says not to apply it directly to the chamois. Why not? Has anyone tried this?
Also, would it be appropriate/safe to apply this in all the same areas as regualr chamois cream (aka on the inner sides of the girly bits?)
