someone to vent my frustration to....

    Hi all...
I am writing only because I want to vent some frustration on 2 subjects that seem to get under my nerves quite often! One is when a vehicle magically gets a voice when it passes...Example...seeing someone literally slow down while passing me and yelling out their window something derogatory. That happens to me all the time. I find no respect in that. Are there more of you that this happens to?...

And then, the litter that is in massive quanities on east Texas roadways. A person really doesn't see what is on the ground in the grown up grass until not driving. There is definetly no repect for the land here. I was on a litter control in Colorado, but there definetly wasn't this much trash.

Anyway, that is for that....Other then that, I had a great ride this morning. It was quite cool compared to what it normally is, so the ride was great. The fog was not though. It was pretty bad on a few climbs and down in the valleys. I was quite worried a couple times.

I also wanted to say that this forum is great! I have learned so many things. I don't write too often, but I do read a lot. Thanks everyone...

    That is it for now....

Hi - I'm part of the choir here at TE, feel free to rant

Geez louise, when it comes to insults and stupidities, what haven't I heard? It is much better here in NM than it was in Florida. Here it is the occasional idiot who harasses you, in florida (i lived in miami & tampa), I felt like a moving target for virtually everyone. Hell hostility!

About dirty roads - you aren't kidding! Not just rubbish, but dirt, rocks, glass, and a bunch of other nasty's that can hurt your bike are everywhere. We had a big thunderstorm about 2-3 weeks ago, and the dirt/rocks are still littered over parts of the road. The sort of thing you wouldn't notice in a car, but you darn well do on a bike.

Glad you had a good ride regardless

    Hi Cassandra...
I am glad that someone can feel my pain! I feel better since I complained! LOL I recently moved back from Maui, HI and what a shock! The only reason why I am back is that my daughter wanted to be closer to grandparents..Yes, they are really important! Beautiful places to ride there! Not much trash either...hmmm...? I wonder why ?
