It's about the journey and being in the moment, not about the destination

On the Santa Ana Trial being flat: One time when I got back to Yorba park, another rider came up to moi and said "you killed on my those big hills!" he was referring to highway underpasses!
A metric is a metric! Woo Hoo!

LOL! It actually wasn't too long ago that I was braking the whole way down through underpasses on the SART. I'm happy to say that my bike handling and confidence have improved lately!

Mmmmmm.... I guess I better start getting out there and doing some distance. I think my longest ride this year is 50 miles... I've been lazy. That metric at Cool Breeze is looking better and better every day!

Ok so I finally cleaned up in the shower and omigosh there were so many bugs stuck between me and my sportsbra!!

Yes, a lot of bugs in the early morning hours.
    ~~Tiffanie~~

Your biggest challenge isn't someone else.
It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs and the voice inside that yells "CAN'T".
But you don't listen. You just push harder.
And then you hear the voice whisper "CAN".
And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are.

I didn't check my bra, but that one is now out of my eye. It stayed there until I got home and could look in the mirror. My vision just stopped being blurry in that eye!

That is so cool! I don't think I could have spoken for at least an hour and a gallon of coffee after getting up at that time! Ya'll all look cute (he does look tall!) and like you're having a fun time! Congratulations!
