    Super Go Bike shops?

One of the LBS was bought out by Super Go. I stopped by today, saw the sign and remarked to the salesperson that that sucked (sorry, it's the '60's anti-establishment in me!) and he told me how it was a really good chain, low prices, big buying power, people have been driving 200 miles to another town from here to buy their stuff there, etc.

Well, guess I've been living in a cave because I've never heard of them? Any of you?

Yep, bought two full suspension bikes online from them- one last year and one this year.

Their online inventory seems to be dwindling compared to a couple of years ago but they still have a ton of stuff at really good prices. If I order online, I try to stick to East Coast places though just b/c it takes so darn long to get something from CA but other than the long shipping times, I've been happy with them.

I believe they were just bought out by Performance?

    Cheers,
    Kristina

The salesperson said that one company owns them, Performance and Bike Nashbar.

Oh yeah, that was the other one I was trying to remember. I've read that the Supergo stores are huge. There's nothing big around here. I'm sure I'd have a field day in there

The store in Tucson is big - but unless you are (1) male (2) 20-30 years old and (3) have the gaunt Lance Armstrong look, you are invisible to salespeople. Grrrr... They don't "get" that we are the ones with the $$$ !!!
