Okay ladies. I have been offered this sexy little toy to race on this season. What do you think?

I can get this bike for a really good price, but I need a few opinions first.

To buy or not to buy - that is the question?

I like it a lot! Have you had a chance to ride it though? My friend has one and it's pretty sweet! She has the carbon one. I would preferr the carbon but if you cam get the other for cheap, upgade parts!

I can't find weight specs anywhere on the page. Any idea how much it weighs? What are you riding now? How does this compare to that?

That's a nice set up with all XTR and the Mavic wheelset (of course I'm partial to the Mavic wheels as that's what I have and I love them). Just make sure the shifters aren't those integrated ones on the brake levers (it looks like it could be; if you haven't used them I highly recommend testing them first. I hated them.).

and test ride it. No matter the price - if it doesn't fit you won't ride it! other than that.........Woot!! what an awesome bike!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Unfortunately I cannot test ride it. I am partially sponsored and they match the bike to suit my required geometry, so I have no doubts it will fit properly.

In regards to the weight of the bike I don't know exactly either, but it should be pretty light.

My current bike is a BMC velvet 01 which I built up.

I am considering just getting the frame and building it to the way I like. I hate dual control shifters, and the crossmax wheels are not the lightest on the market.
