    new here

    Hi ladies,

I have been lurking on your site for quite a while gathering info for training and a bike purchase. I finally decided to join this morning.

I have always loved riding my bike - when I was a kid I rode everywhere, and in my twenties I rode for fitness and fun. I would do an occasional tour type ride (I remember doing the MS fundraiser), but never with any training or focus. After 3 kids and some injuries I found myself not riding much, and when I broke my collarbone 2 years ago I really let myself go. I finally started doing something about it last summer, began working our and set some fitness goals for myself, which include running two tri's this summer - a sprint and an olympic distance.

I have been running and doing a lot of spinning recently, and I just purchased my first road bike yesterday - actually, I ordered it and am waiting impatiently to get it. I look forward to learning more from all you experienced bikers.
