So will be attending a group all-day training session at a hotel that's outa my neighbourhood. It's been over 4 months since I've cycled in the hotel location since the route has been full of snow, ice and now enough icy large puddles in a park pathway. I try to avoid some of the major car roads, since there's gravel which does make it slippery.

I tried the park pathway route to see if it was ok. No, I can't cycle this in early morning darkness...and then stopped 2/3's way by a huge deep puddle of melting snow and water. I couldn't get around with my bike since the snow banks were narrow and rutted without me sliding into water. Alas, I turned around.

Oh well, I will board the light rail commuter train early morning (meaning before 6:00 am. Bikes are forbidden after 6:30 am for 3 hrs.) and then ride out to the hotel. Yes, of course I'm bringing my business clothing.

Otherwise I would transfer to bus, etc...which is still an option if it snow-rains.

I just like cycling and don't enjoy walking in the suburban area in the dark.
