Here are a couple more that my friend took. It was soo cool! I had a rockin good time!
The race actually went right past our family ranch on Bodega Hwy and then turned on Jonive (pronounced HOE-NEEVE)road which also borders our property. Half of me wanted to watch from our ranch, but the other half wanted to be in Santa Rosa for the finish. So I staked out a place in front of the jumbo tron and watched them go up past our place and turn on to Jonive rd. I was so stoked to see them going past the place where I grew up. It sounds odd but I kind of teared up with pride. Growing up in the country nothing fun ever happened out there and I always longed to leave the ranch... Of course now I'm grown and really appreciate it.
I'm also happy that Levi finally got the recognition he deserves. All the GO LEVI posters and t-shirts were really cool. Having met the guy I can say he is really a class act. A very nice guy!
