SF -- Women's Development Racing Program

    To disable ads, please log-in.

The Tri-Flow Women's Development Racing Program is a new training & racing program for women in the bay area. This six-week, coached program is targeted to women who want to race as part of a small team for a specific event. Twice-weekly trainings focus on skills and tactical development, group riding, and race fitness.

Our second racing development program for 2006, focusing on the Wente Road Race (Livermore) on April 22nd will begin on March 13th. The registration deadline for this program is February 27th and there are still spots available.

Who should register? Any woman who wants to improve skills, learn tactics, and explore team racing -- new racers, unattached racers, triathletes, advanced recreational riders.

Our first program will wrap up next week at the Snelling Road Race. A huge success, here's what our participants have to say:

"The Tri-Flow program has been a great complement to my training regimen. The skills we have practiced have gone a long way to making race-pace pack-riding much more comfortable. In addition to that, the discussions and practice of tactical and strategic maneuvering have helped me gain confidence and also identify strengths and abilities relative to different types of courses. The focus is very different from most clinics in that it covers much more than just basic skills, we also learn how to read a course in advance, select good lines, get ideas for (tactics), etc. It has also been great fun to learn how to work together as a small team. "

"The Tri-Flow program delivers organization, training and real results. If you want to start racing there isn't a better program around."

as a plug for Lorri who tends to lurk here but not post (well at least that's what Dita says ),

Lorri has been coaching women's cycling for several years and has been a real advocate for women's cycling in the Bay Area (see velogirls.com).

I haven't yet met Lorri (although we've exchanged several emails regarding lunachix), I have attended one of her clinics (led by one of her race teammates) and it was excellent.

Hey Lorri - go fill out the getting to know you page!
    Cheers!
