Ragbrai 2013?

I'm going on Ragbrai starting this Sunday. Are any of you TE riders going? I'm more of a lurker on this forum, but keep up to date with the happenings, ideas and advice from this forum.

I've been on Ragbrai with the young family in 1983 and partial weeks of 2010 and 2011. Last year -2012 I completed the full week riding by myself -as alone as anyone can be with 15000 other riders that is.

Since my #5 son expressed a desire to come with me this year and #4 son just moved to Des Moines (a overnight town for the ride) I had a hard time saying no to this years' ride.

I'm just curious if any TE women are going this year.

I kinda wish I was doing it again but then I also still remember the heat, but then I loved the women on the road in front of their farms with water hoses covering me with water......and eating some great pie across the state

ENJOY the ride and being with your sons!!!! Some of the best fun with nice people on a weeklong ride there is!!!!!

No, but I hope you have a fabulous ride, and maybe it won't be so hit this year. We'd love to do that ride someday!

I also just heard that Lance is doing RAGBRAI this year. ;-)

I am doing the last two days to get a flavor for the ride. We own property where the last overnight is located, so it is convenient for me to go down there and ride a couple of days.
