    Any of y'all riding tomorrow?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

We were registered for the 68 mile leg. We decided for reasons of personal safety NOT to ride since there are several Railroad crossing that are NOT good in the rain. We couldn't believe they went ahead with the ride and didn't postpone it until Sunday. We rode Sunday for fun and had great weather. I talked to several people who didn't ride because of the storms and heavy rain. We all wished they would have rescheduled for Sunday.

It is a great ride, but I think they should have not risked it on Saturday and rescheduled it for Sunday. It is for a great cause and I will be back next year.

Charity rides are rarely rescheduled. Most of the time when you register it will say "rain or shine." It would probably be close to impossible to reschedule because those rides are organized and worked by volunteers who set time out of their personal schedules to work those rides.

I understand why organizers went ahead with the race, however I wished they would have waited one day. I talked to several people who were scheduled to ride and only one of them actually participated and said the conditions were brutal and the railroad track crossings were extremely dangerous. But the money raised is for a great cause and I will be back next year. I also encourage others to come and support CARTI in this ride, they do tremendous work for cancer patients and their families.
