Hi... I posted this under the valentines post but didn't know if you'd go back and read it...

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend... I know it hurts... and often times makes you question your own mortality, God (however you may see him) and life in general... pretty normal feelings...

I wanted to share this link with you... I do volunteer work as a Crisis Interventionist and this site has been approved for our use by the police dept so I know it's safe and legit... it's an online memorial site with message boards... you will be able to converse with others who are in similar situations and truly understand what you're feeling... also some wonderful poetry there, as well as the memorial section where you can remember and share how wonderful your friend is... hugs..

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".

Yes, my condolences, too. It's at these times when nothing seems to make sense. I hope you have plenty of support around you to help you get through. Take care of yourself!

Thank you all. GP will be sorely missed. I guess I feel kind of bad because I never knew he had cancer since he never spoke of it, but that's just the way he was.

bikerchick, thank you for the link. I'll have to check it when I have time. I *hate* being on call which I am right now. :/ And it's night time on call too which is the worst.

    Mel
