    anyone ride fixed gear?

    i want to switch to fixed gear on my new bike.

    any decent bikes for short people (5'1" and 43cm frame) out there?

    I would have LOVED a fixie 20 years ago, they look like a lot of fun! Hope you find one to enjoy.

    Yes - there are some. Fuji make a fantastic 650c wheeled track bike which can be converted to road (ie; add brakes). Also there is another brand which I can't remember. Have a look at the forum 'London Fixed Gear and Single Speed' - believe it or not it's one of the largest bike forums in the world & very friendly. There is a whole women's section - you will get plenty of help there.

    I have a fixie that I use on the road for track training, velodrome is 110km from me. They are a lot of fun to ride. Mine was originally flat bar but I put drop bars on it all by myself, I was so proud. Lol.
