Pikes Peek 10K - Rockville, MD

My husband and I registered for a Maryland race for our April event (crossing the dreaded Potomac! ). After hearing some good reviews from folks at work, we decided to try the Pikes Peek 10K in Rockville (29 April). It's "mostly" downhill and several people have run PRs in this one. Instead of a t-shirt, you get a fleece!

So far, we are registered for a 5K in Arlington in Feb, the St Pats 8k in DC during March, and this one in April.

Another Maryland race that I'm going to check around for is the Jug Bay 10K---should be in November. Anacostia State Park---supposed to have great scenery.
