What a nice Santa! DH and I both have Auroras. They are very nice bikes, especially for the money. Have fun with it!

Hubby got a new car last month and I think he felt a little guilty, so he asked me if there was anything I wanted...well... come to think of it...
This one will replace my Trek Hybrid that I got about three years ago, and will be my commuter/errand/light touring/rain bike when I don't want to rice my Dolce. This bike feels great, and it has a triple on the front, which is NICE. I don't have much to say about the saddle though, not comfortable at all.
It was hard to find a 2012 Jamis (Aurora), but Free Range Cycles in Seattle found ONE that wasn't spoken for on the west coast, whoo hoo! I had them change out the shifting system, I didn't like the bar end shifters, too cumbersome to get to. Also had them put on "cheater brakes" for me.
This was my first official ride as a new owner, going down the Burke Gilman Trail on the waterfront on a 32 degree morning. But I got my bike-love to keep me warm.![]()

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

How nice! You must've been a very good girl for Santa to bring that sweet bike. Enjoy.
