This is great! Where did you go for this fitting?Just have to share my little happiness of the day. After trying 4 different saddles with no success, and having bad bike mojo all around this summer, I decided to get a 2D bike fit at the Specialized dealer.
The only problem I've ever really had was the sit bone pain, and knee pain when the seat was too low.
WOW! What a difference! He lowered my stem, and immediately I could feel the difference in how my sit bones felt. Made more tweaks and took off my 143 Ruby saddle, which is a race style and tried a 155 more touring type saddle. I'm right on the fence of sizes for more upright riding. That saddle didn't work for me, and I ended up with a new Lithia. Ironically, I sold my old Lithia on this site just about a month ago. The redesign suits me better, it's a flatter saddle and the cut out is better. I wore my least padded shorts and my sit bones were feeling okay.
Then he put on a shorter stem. I took it out on the road, and the bike felt completely different, much more limber. Can't wait to try it on a longer ride.
I go back for a follow-up in a few weeks. All new components are exchangeable, so it's not as scary.
If any of you gals have been toying with getting a fit, the $125 was totally worth it!! It almost feels like I have a new bike. I wish I would have done it a couple years ago.
