    OT: Foo Fighters concert?

    To disable ads, please log-in.

Foo Fighters are playing at the Verizon Center in DC on Nov 11. Anyone want to go?

Alternatively, would I look really pathetic if I went by myself?

I've been to many concerts by myself. I find it's easier in a small, general admission venue than in a large, seated arena, but in the end, it all depends on how you feel about it. If you're comfortable being by yourself to begin with, then it's just like going to a movie or restaurant by yourself If you can't find anyone to go with, I say go for it and have a good time
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

Thanks! As it turned out, one of my friends surprised me by saying he wanted to go with me. (I don't think he's a FF fan so much as he just enjoys live music.) So I bought the tix on Wednesday during the presale. I'm psyched!!
