I picked up on of these last week purely by chance. I found it marked way down and thought why not? I hardly looked at the shorts at all, it was such a steal I thought I would just use the skirt for post ride cover up when going to lunch or whatever after club rides.

Anyway, I decided to give the whole set up a try on a short ride during the week and at turns out I really liked the chamois in the shorts. What I didn't like was that the shorts were completely transparent!

Does anyone else have this skirt/short combo? I don't usually wear underwear under my shorts but I had a really hard time putting on these practically clear shorts under a pretty short skirt to ride a bike. Anyone else, learn to wear them commando? I wanted to wear them on my club ride yesterday but couldn't bring myself to do it. What if there was wind?

I don't have this exact skort but a couple of similar ones. The closest is a cargo skort from Terry, which has a wrap around front like yours. All my skorts have the thin mesh short underneath. So far no embarrassing events. The skorts really seem to stay put, I don't feel like they are going to blow open when a breeze hits or as I peddle. However, when biking I can see the leg of the shorts as I peddle. But I don't think they are noticeable enough to be too worrisome. Even so, I don't always use the included shorts. Sometimes I use thicker stand alone shorts and they do feel more "secure." I use the mesh liner shorts a lot under regular shorts or pants.

I, too, don't have that exact skort, but got one that has a mesh short liner, too. While I could NEVER wear that thing alone, it's really not bad under the skirt (well, it's attached, so I don't really have a choice).
If it's a mesh short you should be just fine- so long as the skirt isn't really loose and flowy- in which case it could be a very "revealing" mistake.

Ok I am going to trust you and next ride I am wearing the skirt with the mesh shorts. I can see how that might be cooler on really hot rides.
