Rear rack on mine is fairly simple to take on and off? I mean, not easy-peasy, but if I can do it I'm sure you can. Just try and do it without the "help" of cats.

I have a new-to-me bike. Am I going to regret trying to install a rear rack myself? It looks easy, but looks can be deceptive.
I'm also thinking of adding a Pinhead locking system, which I already have on one bike. Is there another locking system I should consider?

Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Continue to learn. Appreciate your friends. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.

There's nothing like cat "help." I do have a bulldog who loves working on the bike. I wish I had a photo of me on the floor next to the bike with the laptop featuring Sheldon Brown and the dog "helping."
Pets "helping" are so funny! I had dogs that, whenever I was on the floor exercising or stretching, would come lay down by me for tummy rubs.

Did you get the rack put on the bike? It's not too tough depending on the rack. If I can do it, I'm sure you can. Especially with extra "help." I have two canine helpers that love it when I stretch after a run. They are both right there licking me in the face and dropping toys in my lap wanting to play.

I didn't do it yet. Too much fun riding the bike!
The dog helped with the bottle cage, though. I've decided I can do the rack and kickstand. So the dog has more excitement on the way.
Hahaha. Let us know how it goes.
I'm looking at getting a better rack (bike came with the one I have on it and it's pretty cheap) and maybe fenders...that's a lot of loose little parts for the helpers to bat under the couch.
