I thought I would ask my fellow cyclists if there are any tips/suggestions or experience that could help.

I got a trainer this winter and while I didn't use it a lot, I believe it weakened my knees. I probably had the tension on too high!

Since the winter, I've had tenderness and "cracking/popping" in my knee from time to time.

Yesterday (at age 36), I got hearing aids! Ohmigosh! I never knew that my right knee is "popping/cracking" so much! It is quite audible but I didn't know it until now! It does seem extra sensitive today too.

I've made an appt. for my doctor but can't see her until next Thursday.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with this? It is the typical joint cracking sound, but it seems to happen every time I would pivot on that leg yesterday - just turning from one point of the kitchen to the next for instance.
