Just found out that a local cycling advocate...great health, who looked 10 yrs. younger than his 56 yrs., is now permanently paralyzed (paraplegic at least) after he crashed in a paragliding accident 2 months ago.

He received a card of good wishes and encouragement from a cycling organization which he cried --he never knew his reach to the cycling community was this far.
