Something about the name kind of makes me not want to do it. Just kidding.
Use google's pedometer to look at the course elevations, or go drive it if possible. Good luck on your first century!!![]()

DH and I are riding this at the end of October. The route goes up to Scotty's Castle and goes back.
If anyone has ever ridden this, can you give me a hint as to how difficult the course is? I have never been there and have no idea.
This is my first Century so I am bit nervous.
TIA.

Trek mountain bike...don't know what year
I've done the other route twice on our tandem. We've always wanted to do the Scotty's Castle route. I know the pavement is much better to Scotty's Castle than heading out past Badwater.

Sounds like a great ride. Yes there will be a big hill to climb. Just take your time and drink LOTS of water. Death Valley is beautiful. End of October the weather should be nice, too.
