    HOT ride!

Yes it is hot out there - perfect time to go to my favorite park and practice intervals and hills. I can do this! (she said to herself)

I did last for an entire 13 miles....and I do not think that I have EVER sweated that much! I assume that means that I was drinking enough Forgot my Heed though, but had water and shot blocs. After an hour started getting a touch of nausea so called it quits for the night.

It was fun though - and pretty much had the entire park to myself - only saw three other cyclists crazy enough to be out in the humidity/heat and two of those were walking their bikes up a hill.

It may have only been 13 miles and not my usual - but I got some exercise

Tried someone's suggestion of chocolate milk + chips when I got home and they were heavenly!

You were brave to ride today. It felt like the hottest day yet. I would to my "hot yoga" class tonight as usual. I must be crazy!

Oh my, Catrin, you be careful out there. We rode 20 miles today but we left at daylight and was home by 7 am. It was already 80 degrees by then and the official high today was 102 (heat index of 115). I'm sure it was just as hot up your way. It's scary hot out there.

Wow, I thought we had the same weather, but it was considerably cooler here today than it was yesterday. A lot more humid after it rained, but a lot cooler too.

+1 on being careful. You seem to be doing fine now that you're watching yourself for symptoms.

It was 91 and sticky/sticky/sticky. Tomorrow will be too hot to ride, that is why I wanted to ride tonight...

I can't ride if it gets above 85. I'm not heat-tolerant at all...
At least I don't leave slime trails.

I LOVE hot yoga too!!! I usually go to the heated yoga studio, but lately I have been doing the same routine in my backyard (it was 104 in my yard today when I did yoga)

I've been surprised at being able to ride in these temps. Granted, the humidity has a lot to do with it, but have been comfy riding in 89-90 temps if the humidity isn't sky high like it was last night.

Today is supposed to get close to 95 and there is a heat advisory. I won't be riding tonight...

    I hadn't thought of that!

It's taken me a while to get used to a warmer room. Now I quite like it. But, boy, do I sweat.
