    Welcome!
Pretty bike! I'm new here too. I had some wrist pain on my first real ride and when I asked about it here I received this advice "Numb wrists might be from handlebar height relative to saddle height, and/or the type of handlebar. I think there are threads discussing these, and talk to your bike shop." Also it was mentioned that a tense grip could cause it. I'm sure they'd recommend a bike fitting.

You can search for info on bike fit, I think that should pull up a bunch of info.

Edited to add, I found this about back and neck pain: http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showt...ndlebar+height

I'm not so lean and mean, but I am large and in charge!

Absolutely on a bike fit You say your husband got it for you - where did he get it from? Was it a bike shop or from a private person? If a shop, did you go there and get fitted? If not, most shops will do a basic fit when you buy a bike. Since it's only been a month, take it back and have them fit you. It makes all the difference in the world!!!
    Welcome! And keep riding!
