    I rode this bike today

And it was sweet. The seat felt like it just slid itself underneath my butt instead of me sitting on it. It's light (aluminum ) and well balanced. It's definitely fun to ride.It has a more cruiser-like geometry from a true mixte, though.
    Compare and
    I am considering it.

Anyone want to buy an FX7.6 with about 100 miles on it?

I'm with Chicken Little- they're BOTH gorgeous!!!

And yes, I'd like to buy your bike, but I don't think my marriage can handle another bike.

Both bikes are gorgeous! I'd say if you can't get/find a classic unique mixte like the one below and want the style, get the Electra. Where's the thread here .... someone wanted to find a light, fast, easy to get on and off the bike, touring bike for her Mom? May be perfect for her.

They copied my brake levers! Who pointed Electra to the "Show us your Mixte" thread

    Nice!

Remember that aluminium rattles your brains when the surface is rough.

My brains are already rattled so no problem there.

I have a mixte in the works but this one, not being a true mixte has a more relaxed geometry. I've decided I want it. As soon as it stops raining and I can take some decent photos of the Mariposa it's up for grabs too.

Are you getting the bike with the sprung saddle? Is this going to be your canal riding steed?

I only posted the silver one as a geometry comparison (the word "compare" is overlooked when salivating, I think.)

No, I have my canal bike, just need a saddle for it.
The blue one would be for town or paved MUP or Tweed Rides
