    Handlebar question

What is the name of the flat bars I see with the vertical ends? Are those part of the bars or are they bar-end attachments?

Do you mean like this? Bar ends, and they're separate. They come in cold and uncomfortable (to me) or small and beautiful in carbon. The angle is adjustable.

Yes, that is what I mean - thanks for the link. I wasn't sure how to find a picture of them since I didn't know what they were called.

I also find this bar interesting...

You find those bars "interesting" while I find them, well...hideous.

Say what you really think Zen What I found interesting was the option for different hand positions. Attractive the H bars are not.

Thanks for the reminder about the Ergons, my Trek has a set of those. I had forgotten that they have bar end extenders like this. I think this is certainly interesting - and more attractive...

How about the STI bars or the (different) H Bars here: http://store.bikefriday.com/index.ph...4d9789d4dea12f

My DH has the H bars on his (non-Bike Friday) commuter with bar end shifters.
