...that I bought my bike, the one that's still my "good" bike.

I graduated from college on May 13 in 1990, spent the next week shopping for bikes for the year long tour I was planning, and brought my bike home (it was the first one I test rode and after riding probably six or eight others I came back to that first one) on May 19.

That bike got me through that tour and several years of recreational cycling before I stuck it away in the basement. I pulled her back out again a few years ago and have used her for commuting, fitness cycling, running errands, charity rides, and a couple of triathlons.

    What a beauty.
I wish I still had my 1986 Centurion.
I still have my 1991 Rock Hopper.

yeah.. that beginning prompted that song in my head too!

Congrats on a lovely bike. 20 years ago my DH found a bike for me at a garage sale. it was a 3 speed PUCH and only 2 speeds worked. It was too big, but at least it was a bike. I gave it away as soon as i could.
