I had a great ride today!

I *finally* feel like I might be getting into a grove here! I covered ten miles today ...hardly a ride for many, but it felt huge to me! I rode out to Ocean Beach and back to the beginning of Golden Gate Park. The accomplishement here is the riding back part...I chose to take a street with quite a few hills and then cut into the park. My quads hurt, but I feel good! When I first got on the bus to come home (love those bike racks on busses!), I felt tired, but like I could have ridden more if I wanted to ...a good thing I think!

I replaced the saddle on the Marin Larkspur and it's perfect.

    I can do this!

That's terrific! SF's hills are NOT easy. Keep it up!

as my aussie friends say "goodonya". 10 miles is a heckuva ride my friend and what an accomplishment!! the Fans go Wild!!! You Go Girl!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

San Francisco hills are nothing to sneeze at. I'm so challenged by the one little hill I have to deal with on my regular route, that I'm definitely impressed...I don't know that I would have the courage to bike in SF!

Congratulations! Ah, a ride that includes the ocean and the scent of eucalyptus groves! Thanks for sharing your accomplishment!

Hooray, shadon! It's an adventure picturing where you live and ride! We are all so different, yet all have that huge fluttering heartbeat when we bring out the bike (off the bus bike rack - wow!) and accelerate from 0 to 15 in a flash.

Absolutely you ARE doing it! Way to go!
