I don't hardly ever post because I learn a lot by just reading.

In 2008 I had pes anserine bursitis. I got a cortisone shot and it fixed my right up.
I started having nagging knee pain in December 2009. I doesn't hurt much while doing activities, but at night lying down it can really get me going. So, today I went back to the orthoped that did the bursitis thinking it's the same.
He said its in a different place, more in the joint line. Gave me a cortisone shot in the knee. Told me that if the shot didn't fix it or the pain came back I'd need it scoped.

I know I have knee cap path problems. My hips go out and my feet go in. It is hard to explain without pictures. He thinks the cartilage is getting roughed up enough to have issues.

Anyone have similar issues?

btw, I did over 900 miles last year with no problems.
