MTB Camps in the MidWest? Winter/Spring 2010

Okay - I'm sick of TEACHING camp; I want to GO to camp. I'm out of vacation time for 09 as my cyclocross season is totally booked but look out 2010!

Anyone know of any camps in the Midwest? I live in OH and am willing to drive to NC, WV, GA, etc.

Can be women's specific or not. Not looking for intro stuff. I'm wanting to learn drops and more finesse stuff. I'm a Sport level mtb racer and race Cross in the off season to keep me fresh. After Cross get's over in December, I'll be wanting to go mtbing again.

Anyone doing the Women's Weekend at Ray's Indoor MTB Park in Cleveland this winter?

    Hi!
I am currently looking in to camps myself. I found that Betterride is having one in Maryland, which is perhaps close for you? Price is higher but they have good reviews. You also may want to check AMC. Also, I am looking into Coyote Hill but they are in VT. Coyote Hill has a downhill camp which may be of interest to you, for your skill level.

I can do five more miles.

There is also an awesome mtb camp in Waco, TX. I know you said Midwest, but I just had to mention this one.

It's usually the first weekend in November. Last year Shonny Vanlandingham came to help out. There are all sorts of skill levels.

Also, the city of Waco provides food, free camping and bikes (although they aren't very reliable.)

Specialized Women's Demo Tour also is on hand!

Keep an eye out on www.keepwacowacko.com or contact Bicycles Outback of Waco.
