Kentucky on 4th of July

I'm going to be 'home' in the Harrodsburg/Danville area for the 4th of July weekend and would like to ride. I understand from the BCC web site there is a Jack Jouett house ride but frankly they didn't make it sound all that inviting. Was wondering if there were any ladies/girls/women that would like to ride that Saturday or Sunday morning possibly starting out in the Burgin area and heading down some rolling country roads for 40ish miles. Average pace 13 MPH somewhat social no drop.

Wish I could join you but I'll be in Tennessee for the 4th. Have you checked out Joe Ward's Cycling the Bluegrass? I believe he has a couple of routes for the Harrodsburg/Danville area in his book. Have fun!
